Boca Grande Tarpon Fishing Photos

These tarpon fishing photos share the part of a charter that stays with you: the fish beside the boat, the people you came with and the moment it all comes together. I’m Capt. Andy Boyette, and I have guided tarpon anglers in the Boca Grande area since 1998.

Your own tarpon story

A photo records one moment, but the day includes much more: getting ready, watching the water, making the first cast and working through the fight. Each charter is different, and the people aboard make every trip its own experience.

First-time tarpon anglers are welcome. You do not need to arrive knowing how to fight a tarpon; I will explain the tackle and help you through it. Tell me about your group when we discuss the trip.

Tarpon photos from days on the water

Boca Grande is the heart of my tarpon fishing. I also fish Charlotte Harbor and the nearby Gulf beaches as conditions allow. These images show individual moments from past charters, rather than a promise of a particular fish or result.

Plan a day worth remembering

I offer private 6-, 8- and 10-hour tarpon charters from April through October. Rates cover one to three people, and a fourth can join for an additional charge. The boat accommodates a maximum of four anglers.

Start with the charter rates and trip options, then read what to bring and where we meet. You can also explore the charter gallery for a visual guide to planning your visit.
